Mastara Chef
Working Together

Mastara Chef has joined forces with the Hospitality Guild to help promote careers in Asian and Oriental cuisine.

Our work will aim to raise awareness of the great career opportunities available to chefs who specialise in Asian and Oriental cuisine and to make sure that there are programmes where people can study. We want to recruit another 10 apprentices between now and the end of March 2014 to meet the growing need for Asian and Oriental trained chefs.

The two organisations will work with the Hospitality Guild’s Centres of Excellence in Asian and Oriental cuisine in London, Birmingham, and Manchester to give people a ‘taste’ of what it’s like to be a chef specialising in Asian and Oriental cuisine.

All employers that support Mastara Chef have committed to offering work placements to anyone who completes a pre-employment training course through one of the Asian and Oriental Centres of Excellence and will guarantee them an interview for an apprenticeship at the end of their training.

Get in touch to let us know that you’re interested in starting an exciting new career in Asian and Oriental cooking.
